Liam Parker

Versatile defender Liam Parker was one of the leading lights of the 2008-2009 season at Boston United and was rewarded with a new deal in the summer of 2009.

Parker was one of only three players retained by joint managers Rob Scott and Paul Hurst, following an accomplished debut campaign at The Jakemans Stadium.

Capable of playing at right-back or even in a holding midfield role, Parker is most comfortable at centre-half and scored three goals during his first season at the club, including two memorable headers at FC United of Manchester in November.

He began his career at Grimsby Town and subsequently played for Boston Town.

He agreed to remain with the Pilgrims for 2010-2011.
