Physiotherapist Katie Cooper joined Boston United on a permanent basis after graduating from Huddersfield University.

The 22-year-old previously spent work experience spells with the Pilgrims, in addition to spending time in football with Notts County and Halifax Town and rugby league with Huddersfield Giants.

During these work experience spells, Katie assisted the clubs' physiotherapists with activities ranging from massage, fitness testing and sports therapy.

Katie, who was born and still lives in Boston, left Boston High School after completing her A-Levels in 2004 and then completed her degree in sports therapy at the University of Huddersfield.

Away from Boston United, Katie is a personal trainer at Fitness First and enjoys keeping fit, socialising and playing netball.
