Ashley Wells
Qualifications: FA Level 1 Certificate in coaching football, FA Emergency Aid Certificate, FA Child Protection and Best Practice Certificate, Edexcel Level 2 BTEC First Diploma in Sport, Certificate in Assistant Fitness Instructing Level 1, Sports Leaders UK Level 1 Award in Community Sports Leadership, qualified referee.
Football and coaching background: Ashley started playing football for Spalding Athletic from under-10s level. He then moved to Spalding Colts (captained by fellow coach James Thorold) and he played for them from under-15s level to their under-18s side.
During his time at Spalding Colts, he had trials for Spalding United. Ashley also went on to study at the Robert Manning Technology College.
In 2005, Ashley qualified to be a referee and he is currently continuing his education at Stamford College, where he is studying the National Certificate in Sports.
Away from work and studies, Ashley enjoys going out with friends on a Saturday night, playing cricket, tennis, having a game of football at the park and playing poker.
