Snow-covered Staffsmart Stadium

The Staffsmart Stadium is currently blanketed by around two inches of snow, although Boston United officials still remain positive that Easter Monday’s fixture against Kettering Town will go ahead as scheduled.

Early morning snow has left the playing surface covered entirely, but club secretary John Blackwell is optmisitic that Monday’s fixture against Blue Square North leaders Kettering will take place.

Blackwell told bufc.co.uk: “There is no pitch inspection planned at this stage and we are confident that the match will go ahead as planned.

“If that situation changes, we will notify supporters via the official website.”

bufc.co.uk will have further updates during Sunday and Monday.

There will also be a full match preview on bufc.co.uk during Sunday, ahead of Kettering’s first visit to Lincolnshire since the epic New Year encounter of 2001.
