Goalkeeper Chris Wright made an unexpected return to the Boston United line-up for Easter Monday’s derby fixture against Kettering Town and declared himself happy with his afternoon’s work.

The 21-year-old rejoined the Pilgrims for a third spell on Sunday and was pitched straight into the line-up for Monday’s 1-0 defeat to title-chasers Kettering.

Wright joined the bufc.co.uk cameras after the final whistle to discuss his man-of-the-match performance, as chosen by match sponsors Highfield Events.

Wright reflected on his return, his own performance and the team’s overall display on derby day.
