David Newton
Boston United chairman David Newton is appealing for supporters to help the club in the quest for survival.
The future of the football club is still in a precarious position and Mr Newton is urging fans to write to the Inland Revenue, stating how important the club is to individuals and the town as a whole, particularly with organisations such as the Centre of Excellence, Youth Development Programme, Football in the Community and Study Support Centre all under possible threat.
Mr Newton feels that the Inland Revenue must accept a modification to the CVA for the football club to continue — but so far an agreement has not been forthcoming.

Leaflets will be handed out at Saturday’s Blue Square North fixture against Stalybridge Celtic.
