Mobile phone recycling

The first batch of mobile phones recycled by Boston United has brought in £265 for club funds.

The Pilgrims launched an appeal in pre-season for supporters to recycle their disused mobile phones and the response was excellent, with over 60 phones handed in.

United press officer Craig Singleton told bufc.co.uk: “We’ve had a great response and raised £265 for very little work. I would urge supporters to keep sending phones in to be recycled. The next batch should go off before Christmas, so please drop your old phone in at the club offices, marked for my attention.”

Boston United would like to thank everybody who has supported the recycling scheme to date.
