Ray Power
Boston United’s under-18s will travel to Doncaster Rovers on Saturday morning for their latest Puma Youth Alliance fixture.
The two sides fought out an entertaining 2-2 draw at RAF College Cranwell in October and under-18s coach Ray Power will be calling on his players to deliver the same sort of energy and commitment which secured a point on that occasion against their Coca-Cola Championship opponents.
Power will be without first team duty trio Aaron Butcher, Nick Jackson and Mitchell Griffiths, while Jon Fairweather and Nathan Thompson will again be playing for Spalding United. Therefore, Alex Beck will be Power's only available second year scholar.
New signings Kieron Davies and Danny Hotchkiss and trialist Tod Warburton are included in the travelling party, alongside under-15s duo Alan Carr and Tom Hopper.
Joe Braithwaite and Billy Oliver are sidelined through injury.
Kick-off at Cantley Park is 11.00am.
United (from): Hewitt, Mountain, Carr, Ashton, Day, Baker, Clancy, Maltby, Beck, Hopper, Draper, Hutchinson, Stocks, Warburton, Davies, Hotchkiss.
