John Blackwell (General Manager & Secretary)

John Blackwell

John Blackwell has been at Boston United for over 25 years and is currently the club's general manager and secretary.

A well-respected figure within football, Blackwell has filled various roles at the club, including player, trainer, programme editor and more recently the secretarial duties.

He works alongside his wife Maureen in the ticket office and performs numerous roles for the football club during his daily duties. The Blackwells helped establish the Pilgrims' Alphabet Forecast during the late-1980s and their hard work has ensured that it is still going strong in 2006.

The Blackwells have two daughters, Katie and Lisa, with the latter working in the Study Support Centre at Onside@BostonUnited.
