Rob Scott was appointed the joint manager of Boston United on May 14, 2009.

Scott moved into the professional ranks in 1993 when he joined Sheffield United from non-league Sutton United. From this point, the Epsom-born defender went on to establish himself in the professional game and scored 37 goals in 395 senior appearances.

He enjoyed spells with Fulham, Rotherham United, Oldham Athletic, Macclesfield Town and Halifax Town, plus loan stints with Scarborough, Northampton Town and Carlisle United.

Scott completed a switch to Ilkeston Town in the summer of 2008 and played extensively during the first half of the season before being handed the managerial duties following David Holdsworth’s departure to Mansfield Town.
