Tyrone Kirk
Boston United have completed the signing of highly-rated winger Tyrone Kirk from UniBond Division One South neighbours Stamford.
The 23-year-old wing wizard was recently named as Stamford’s player of the year following a string of impressive performances for the Daniels and has now become the latest signing of the Rob Scott and Paul Hurst era at The Jakemans Stadium.
Kirk began his career as a trainee with Scunthorpe United, before drifting into non-league football. He turned out for the Pilgrims during the early stages of their 2007 pre-season build-up, but soon made the switch to join Stamford.
His performances during two seasons at Stamford drew many plaudits and his services were in demand when his contract expired in the summer.
Reflecting on the latest arrival, joint boss Scott told bufc.co.uk: “Tyrone is a lively and inventive player who were are delighted to have onboard.
“Tyrone has been highly sought-after and it’s great news that he has agreed to join us here at Boston.”
The Pilgrims will unveil two further signings in the near future — stay tuned to bufc.co.uk for further details.
