Boston United midfielder Anthony Church revelled in Saturday’s last-gasp victory over Buxton at The Jakemans Stadium.

The 22-year-old made a welcome return from suspension against the Bucks and played a starring role as the Pilgrims returned to winning ways thanks to Liam Parker’s winner eight minutes into stoppage time.

Church reflected on his return to action, United’s dramatic win and the character displayed by the Pilgrims having played almost an hour with only 10 men.

The influential midfielder also looked ahead to Tuesday’s Challenge Cup tie against FC Halifax Town.
