Jelleyman set for first appearance

Boston United travel to Belper Town on Saturday afternoon for their penultimate pre-season friendly.

The Evo-Stik Division One South outfit, who have ex-Pilgrims Jon Froggatt and Lee Thompson within their ranks, will entertain United at Christchurch Meadow, kick-off 3.00pm.

The Pilgrims are likely to rest Danny Davidson and Shaun Pearson who are carrying knocks, while Liam Parker and Gareth Davies are both ruled out too.

New signing Gareth Jelleyman is set for his first appearance since joining the Pilgirms on Thursday, but it remains to be seen whether trialist Gareth Clayton will feature after his hour-plus outing against Stamford on Tuesday.

Rob Scott and Paul Hurst are likely to rotate their selection options, with only two weeks to go ahead of the Blue Square Bet North opener against Stafford Rangers at The Jakemans Stadium.
