FOOTBALL IN THE COMMUNITY

Boston United established links with the Football in the Community network in the summer of 2004 and Nick Reeson has now taken on the role of Community Officer at the club following the departure of Brett Whaley in January 2007.

The Pilgrims appointed Whaley as their first Football in the Community Officer in September 2004 and the scheme at the Staffsmart Stadium has gone from strength-to-strength over recent times.

Nick Reeson heads up the scheme at Boston United and he has a team of full-time staff and modern apprentice coaches working alongside him, including Jamie Lawrence, Richard Houghton, Lewis Wright, Bobby Smith and James Thorold.

The FITC scheme can be contacted on (01205) 364406.
